You can say this much for “Feltman: World’s First Hot Dog”: If Michael Quinn’s one-man show doesn’t leave you craving a glizzy, you’re either vegan or your tastebuds have gone sour. Quinn’s play is a two-parter -- in the first half, he shares how German immigrant Charles Feltman invented the hot dog and turned it into a Coney Island sensation, while in the second he details his entrepreneurial quest to bring the Feltman frank back to life (he’s since parted ways with the brand). It’s a reasonably good yarn, though arguably more in the mold of engaging lecture than true theater. — Charles Passy
