“Let’s Love!” at the Atlantic Theater Company
3 out of 5 stars
If there’s a quirkiness to the characters in “Let’s Love!” reminiscent of what you might expect in a Coen brothers picture, that’s not by accident. This is a play by Ethan Coen, after all. Actually, make that three plays – “Let’s Love!” is a series of one-acters centered around people trying to connect romantically and sexually. It’s not quite fully there: The opening and closing plays feel almost like afterthoughts, but the middle one, centered around a spitfire woman played to perfection by Aubrey Plaza, is a buzzy delight. In short, this undertaking has its charms, but it’s no “Big Lebowski.” — Charles Passy
